With the MultiLAS, KNESTEL Technologie & Elektronik GmbH presents an innovative gas analysis device that sets new standards through its modular architecture and state-of-the-art laser technology. The system is based on the principle of Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) and combines both DFB and QCL lasers to detect multiple gases simultaneously, selectively, and with the highest precision – compactly integrated into a single device.

Modular Gas Analysis – Flexible Configuration with up to Three Laser Modules

The MultiLAS can be equipped with up to three different laser modules. Even in its standard configuration, it reliably detects common process and exhaust gas components such as CO, CO₂, N₂O and H₂O with a single module. For more complex requirements, additional modules for NO, NO₂ and NH₃ are available. KNESTEL also offers the possibility of extending the system to cover additional gases. A comprehensive list of further detectable molecules can be found in the HITRAN database, with additional modules being developed upon request.

Consistent measurement characteristics and OEM gas analyzer solutions

All MultiLAS modules share consistent measurement characteristics. High linearity, fast response times and minimal drift ensure reliable results even in long-term operation. The robust design and compact 19″ housing simplify integration into existing infrastructures. In addition, the system is also available as an OEM version, making it easy to embed into customer-specific systems – a decisive advantage for manufacturers who want to implement their own gas analysis solutions with minimal development effort.
