Das Messprinzip basiert auf der Ionisation der im Probengas enthaltenen Kohlenstoffatome in einer Wasserstoffflamme. Durch Mischen des Wasserstoffes mit sauberer Brennluft entsteht Knallgas, welches sich durch Z\u00fcnden der Gl\u00fchkerze in der Brennkammer entflammt. Die Flamme brennt dabei innerhalb des elektrischen Feldes zwischen zwei Elektroden, wobei durch Chemieionisation CH<\/span><sup>+<\/sup><span style=\"color: #777777; font-weight: normal;\"> und H<\/span><sub>3<\/sub><span style=\"color: #777777; font-weight: normal;\">O<\/span><sup>&#8211;<\/sup><span style=\"color: #777777; font-weight: normal;\"> Ionen entstehen. Diese werden von der an den Elektroden angelegten Gleichspannung abgezogen. Abh\u00e4ngig von der Anzahl an im Probengas enthaltenen HC-Verbindungen bzw. der Anzahl an organisch gebundenen Kohlenstoffatomen (C-Atome), erh\u00e4lt man einen entsprechenden Strom an den Elektroden. Dieser ist sehr gering (pA-Bereich) und wird deshalb zur Detektion elektrisch verst\u00e4rkt. \u00dcber diesen Strom kann aufgrund der linearen Proportionalit\u00e4t zwischen den Gr\u00f6\u00dfen auf die Kohlenwasserstoff-Konzentration im Probengas r\u00fcckgeschlossen werden. <\/span><\/p><p>Da bei diesem Messprinzip vor allem die Kohlenstoffatome (C-Atome) ionisiert werden, erh\u00e4lt man f\u00fcr h\u00f6here Verbindungen mit mehreren C-Atomen (z.B. C<sub>3<\/sub>H<sub>8<\/sub>) auch einen h\u00f6heren Strom am Detektor. Soll der Anteil der verschiedenen HC-Verbindungen angegeben werden, so kann dieser \u00fcber sogenannte Response-Faktoren ermittelt werden. Dazu werden mit Hilfe eines thermischen Cutters langkettige Atome reduziert, sodass nur Methan f\u00fcr die Messung im Probengas zur\u00fcckbleibt. Aus der Differenz ergibt sich so die Konzentration der Nichtmethan Kohlenwasserstoffe (NMHC).<\/span>\n\nDa bei diesem Messprinzip vor allem die Kohlenstoffatome (C-Atome) ionisiert werden, erh\u00e4lt man f\u00fcr h\u00f6here Verbindungen mit mehreren C-Atomen (z.B. Durch Zuf\u00fchren der Brennluft, kann mit Hilfe der Gl\u00fchkerze eine Knallgasflamme entz\u00fcndet werden.<\/p><p>Die Elektroden zur Detektion des durch die Ionisation verursachten Stromes sind schalenf\u00f6rmig um die Flamme angeordnet. Vor dem Detektor findet eine elektrische Verst\u00e4rkung der sehr geringen Str\u00f6me statt. Sowohl die Brennluft (synthetische Luft) als auch das Brenngas (H<sub>2<\/sub>) m\u00fcssen dem FID extern zugef\u00fchrt werden.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
